WebBeds, the global marketplace providing accommodation and ground product distribution services to the travel industry, announces the appointment of Stephanie Rogers to the position of WebBeds’ SVP Sourcing for Europe.
WebBeds has made a senior-level appointment to its European leadership team, emphasising the importance of Europe as the largest destination region of its business.
WebBeds Europe is the largest TTV sales and destination region for the travel wholesaler which sees the global business continue to outperform the market with bookings exceeding pre-pandemic levels since May 2022. Anders Kjong, WebBeds President – Europe, said “The addition of Stephanie to lead our European Sourcing team brings a huge amount of experience in hotel distribution from a range of segments across the travel industry. Stephanie’s energy and broad view of the marketplace will be a huge asset in supporting the business as we evolve and innovate our offering to hotels to help drive us towards achieving our ambition to become the #1 global B2B provider”.
Stephanie joins WebBeds from Accor, where she was Senior Director for OTAs – Northern Europe. Before that, Stephanie spent time at Booking.com in London and Australia where she held various roles focused on connectivity, hotel chains, revenue optimisation and contract negotiations.
Commenting on her new role, Stephanie said, “I am so excited about joining WebBeds and to be leading the amazing Sourcing organisation. My experience in hotel distribution will no doubt complement the brilliant team we have in place and I look forward to working with my colleagues to help steer us to success in 2023 and beyond”.
Stephanie joins the company on 14th February and will be based in WebBeds’ London office.
