Spectrum Control, a Global Tech Giant, Hosts Equipment Auction via NCM Auctions Amidst UK Site Consolidation

In an initiative to consolidate their UK testing and development premises, Spectrum Control, a frontrunner in electromagnetic spectrum technology, has engaged NCM Auctions, experts in auction and asset management. Spectrum Control, with its corporate headquarters in Pennsylvania, USA, is renowned for producing advanced RF/microwave, microelectronics, and security technologies. These innovations are pivotal for ensuring dependable radio signal transmission across critical sectors including defence, commercial, industrial, and aerospace on a global scale.

In light of consolidating its manufacturing operations to the Great Yarmouth site and transitioning to a new Design and Development Hub in Milton Keynes, Spectrum Control has tasked NCM with the responsibility of prolonging the lifespan of their excess assets and specialist equipment.

The digital auction showcases an array of specialist laboratory and testing apparatus, featuring environmental test chambers, thermal shock ovens, shielded enclosures, and microscopes, to name a few. Additionally, the auction includes a range of general items such as office furnishings, workstations, air conditioning systems, forklifts, lifting gear, and a substantial 1,400 sq m mezzanine structure.

Amy Rutherford from NCM Auctions stated, “We’re delighted to be working with Spectrum Control on this auction. It includes a lot of expert lab equipment that is rare to market. Their actions to dispose of this surplus equipment in an environmentally friendly way means we can extend the equipment’s lifecycle as it’s repurposed and reused by our auction buyers.”

She further added, “We’re seeing a lot of interest from colleges, universities and specialist training facilities. This auction also includes building fixtures and fittings, including the mezzanine floor, air conditioning units, lots of furniture and storage items, which are always in high demand from our network of buyers.”

Danny Docwra, HS&E and Facilities Manager at Spectrum Control, remarked, “We are very happy to have appointed NCM Auctions on our behalf to assist in our consolidation activities, their views on sustainability and reduction of environmental impacts align with our business’ own environmental targets. We look forward to seeing assets that served us so well going to other businesses that can benefit from them as opposed to going to landfill.”

The online auction for Spectrum Control is due to end on 1 March. Interested bidders can browse the catalogue and register to bid now.

The subsequent time I read a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as a lot as this one. I mean, I know it was my option to read, however I really thought youd have something attention-grabbing to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you may repair for those who werent too busy searching for attention.
