Celebratory Event at BT Headquarters Showcases Triumphs of Care-Experienced Youths with Keynote from Jaz Ampaw-Farr

An event at BT Headquarters in London recently shone a spotlight on the achievements of 140 outstanding youths with care experience. Jaz Ampaw-Farr, a figure synonymous with resilience and success, delivered a keynote that captivated the attendees, sharing insights from her journey through foster care to becoming an influential motivational speaker and co-founder of Be Human First Ltd.

Her speech, interspersed with humour and authenticity, aimed to inspire the young audience to view challenges as stepping stones to success.

Reflecting on the event, Ampaw-Farr stated, “There are lots of reasons children end up in care, and absolutely none of them include the child being broken! The skills I learned navigating foster homes, education, and homelessness as a child and teenager are the same skills I applied in my journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur. I’m honoured to be part of these awards and shine a light on the fantastic work of The Virtual School.”

Ampaw-Farr’s narrative is a testament to the power of resilience and self-belief, making her a sought-after speaker worldwide. Her engagements with notable individuals and her work through Be Human First Ltd continue to inspire and foster growth.

Her upcoming book and the documentary by Nosco Films are eagerly anticipated, promising to share her inspiring journey with a broader audience.
