The Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation is inviting visitors to explore 76 cutting-edge Korean food brands at SIAL Paris 2024, the world’s top food innovation exhibition, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.

From 19th to 23rd October 2024, the Korean Pavilion, hosted by the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), will feature 76 leading Korean companies. These businesses will showcase a diverse range of agricultural and food products aimed at international buyers who are seeking health-focused, eco-friendly solutions.

The Pavilion will be spread across Hall 4 (Stand 4 L120) and Hall 7 (Stand 7 K259), presenting a wide variety of traditional and contemporary Korean foods, including fermented sauces, Kimchi, noodles, ready meals, drinks, Ginseng, and vegan offerings. These products reflect the growing global demand for plant-based and sustainable foods.

Korean Cuisine’s Rising Popularity in Europe

Korean food is rapidly gaining traction in Europe, known for its unique balance of health benefits and delicious flavours. With retailers like Carrefour and Monoprix now stocking Korean products, the Korean Pavilion at SIAL Paris will provide a key opportunity for visitors to engage with this growing trend. Attendees will have the chance to meet producers, sample the products, and form valuable business connections.

The rise in plant-based diets across Europe has further boosted the appeal of Korean cuisine. Its versatility has made it a favourite amongst chefs, offering much more than the well-known Kimchi.

Highlighting the Diversity of Korean Cuisine

Ms. Nam Sanghui, Director of aT Center Paris, remarked: “We are excited to reflect the true diversity of Korean products in SIAL Paris 2024. Our goal is to engage with those searching for innovative, health-conscious food options, and the Pavilion is the perfect place to discover the latest trends in Korean cuisine.”

SIAL Paris, marking its 60th anniversary as the leading food innovation exhibition, is expected to draw over 285,000 visitors from 200 countries. The event provides an invaluable platform for Korean companies to showcase their products to a global audience.
