George Leeming Ascends to Solicitor Role at Manleys After Impressive In-House Growth

The team at Manleys, specialists in commercial litigation and media law based in Cheshire, are proud to celebrate George Leeming’s qualification and subsequent appointment as a solicitor within the firm, marking a significant milestone in their nurturing of in-house talent.

George’s initial position as a paralegal at Manleys set the stage for his swift ascent, leading to a training contract and his eventual qualification as a solicitor, now contributing to the firm’s success in his new role.

George’s portfolio includes a variety of challenging work in commercial litigation, sports law, and commercial contract drafting. Mark Manley, the firm’s Managing Director, considers him a ‘valuable member of the team’.

Mr Manley remarked, “George has really impressed from early on with us.  He has undertaken some fabulous work particularly in the sports arena from assisting on a successful appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, drafting agreements for pre-season friendly matches for a Premier League club, and working on an injunction application for an England international footballer.

“He has quicky developed a rapport with some of our football agent clients and has assisted on a number of player transfer transactions and some contract issues. He is a valuable member of the team, and we are delighted he has chosen to continue his career development with the firm.”
