Klaxoon Hits €20m Revenue Mark And Appoints Hervé Simonin As Ceo To Accelerate Growth

Rennes, France, January 31, 2023 – Klaxoon’s revenues, the champion of hybrid collaborative work, have surpassed the €20 million threshold. Matthieu Beucher, Founder and Chairman of the Rennes-based scale-up, announces that Hervé Simonin, former Director of New Business at Carrefour, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the company. As collaborative tools are playing an essential role in a new era dominated by hybrid work disrupting all sectors, Klaxoon is enlisting the skills of an experienced manager, recognized for his expertise in leading companies.

By hitting the €20 million revenue mark, Klaxoon has established itself as a key player in the field of collaboration tools. Since its launch in 2015, Klaxoon has been developing its software offering to meet the strongest requirements of its business customers and become a leading partner for businesses.

In 2022, Klaxoon consolidated its position in France with large-scale deployments within CAC40 companies and the public sector, as well as in Europe (Germany, UK) and North America. Its ability to meet the strictest security requirements while offering a customized support service is winning over enterprises that are using Klaxoon as a key lever to overhaul their collaboration practices. Its easy-to-use software (SaaS), adopted across all sectors, allows the spread of agile methods on a large scale with very significant impacts on productivity: reduction in the use of emails by 4, duration of meetings divided by 3, accelerated decision making, simplified task tracking, etc.

In 2023, Klaxoon is now announcing a brand new generation platform with new features whilst enabling its technology to be integrated with other professional applications. For example, connected with JIRA (American reference software for project management), Klaxoon now makes it possible to accelerate the prioritization and problem-solving phases. This unique level of interoperability has been acclaimed by project management teams: Airbus, La Poste and the National Bank of Canada have all recently purchased this program.

For this new development phase, particularly on an international level, Klaxoon will rely on the expertise of Hervé Simonin, who has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the company. Hervé Simonin began his career in the broadcast industry alongside Jean Frydman, as Director of development. In 1998, he co-founded Freesbee, an Internet service provider of the 2000s, of which he was Chairman of the Board. After the sale of Freesbee, he became CEO of Tiscali’s Consumer business in France. In 2006, he joined the Canal+ group as director of the New content division. After this experience, he enriched his expertise as General Manager at Barrière Interactive Gaming, Showroomprive.com and Linkluence, between 2008 and 2019. Since 2019, he had been leading the trajectory of the Carrefour Group’s start-ups and was in charge of several e-commerce services.

Hervé Simonin: “I was seduced by Klaxoon and its innovative technology. In the world of technology, Klaxoon distinguished itself by its meteoric rise amongst the largest international players in collaborative solutions. Today, Klaxoon has become a reference for new ways of working. Its technology is used by all of the CAC 40 players and companies of all sizes around the world. It is the tool we all need to move forward faster and better. I am delighted to be joining this scale-up with a fantastic international growth potential, and I am extremely excited about this new challenge.”

Matthieu Beucher: “I greatly admire Hervé’s career. I am delighted that a personality with such a background in leading groups is joining us. He knows what companies need! We share human values, a culture of growth, a passion for innovation and a common ambition for Klaxoon. “
