Establish clear communication guidelines and ground rules: Set clear instructions and ground rules when establishing remote working practices and schedule formal weekly check-ins with your team. In addition, set guidelines for daily tasks to be completely and take individual needs into account such as personal life responsibilities or if people are in different geographical time zones. And if there are any queries from your team, then over-communicate to them, particularly as they’re getting used to your new communication channels.

Make Your Meetings Accessible and Professional: Invest in the right technology and tools for online communication such as mics and webcams so that everyone can communicate effectively and be responsive and available when needed. That’s because delays in communication create a perceived distance with you and others in the team. Whereas a quick response will help to make remote team members feel like they’re still part of a real work setting.

State specific goals and outcomes: This will cut down on inefficiency by doing the right actions and allow for increased productivity to get the results you want. And take an interest in your team’s motivation and life goals and find ways to connect them from a far which will helps people feel more connected. So, encourage remote workers to provide feedback on their responsibilities and tasks through one-to-one meetings and Q & A sessions.
